Explore the beauty of Georgian Bay from the seat of a kayak
A kayaking day trip is probably the best way to experience the beautiful sparkling waters along our unique section of Georgian Bay coastline. The Georgian Bay Biosphere is designated as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. In a kayak, you paddle quietly and almost effortlessly along the surface of the water. Quiet ripples left behind from the dip of your paddle is the only disturbance you make. A kayak floats in mere inches of water, so we can be close to the shore to see the granite rocks, white pine trees, and little minks as they scramble up the shore with their crayfish lunch in their mouth. Come share a day with our guides and let them show you the beauty of Georgian Bay, a world full of wonder. This kayak tour is suitable for all levels.
How many people can come?
We can accommodate up to 6 people on most days based on availability. We can bring a group of up to 12 if we have two guides available. Day trips require a minimum of two participants to run.
Weather and cancellations
Due to the elements we are exposed to in outdoor adventure, trips are dependent on the weather. Your guide will make the call on whether the trip can run the night before your scheduled date by 7 pm and will call or email you to advise you the evening before. Usually, day trips will not be canceled, because we have alternate routes we can take depending on the wind direction. In the event that we do have to cancel due to inclement weather, a full refund or date exchange will be arranged. If you decide to cancel your day-trip you must notify us seven or more days in advance to receive a full refund.
