There is no such feeling of freedom like that of a Sea kayak loaded with food and supplies gliding out onto the water to silently explore a coastline for a week or two. Our goal at OSKC is to assist in training paddlers with the skills required to safely explore in a sea kayak and to then take them to some of the world’s most stunning wilderness areas to explore and experience the geography and wildlife from the seat of a kayak.
We are happy to present these sea kayaking experiences. All of our trips are safe spaces. We aim to create a safe space for people of all beliefs and persuasions. We believe the wilderness is for all.

A kayak trip is probably the best way to experience the beautiful sparkling waters along our unique section of Georgian Bay coastline. The Georgian Bay Biosphere is designated as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. In a kayak, you paddle quietly and almost effortlessly along the surface of the water. Quiet ripples left behind from the dip of your paddle is the only disturbance you make.

Johnstone Strait is renowned for its resident and transient Orca, Humpback Whales, Bald Eagles, Seals and a plethora of other marine life. The biodiversity in the area is a sight to see as we paddle and experience life below us, around us, on the shore, and flying overhead. This temperate rainforest is one of the most biodiverse areas in North America where we will see signs of the areas indigenous inhabitants, and paddle in areas most sea kayak tour companies never get to.
