There is no such feeling of freedom like that of a Sea kayak loaded with food and supplies gliding out onto the water to silently explore a coastline for a week or two. Our goal at OSKC is to assist in training paddlers with the skills required to safely explore in a sea kayak and to then take them to some of the world’s most stunning wilderness areas to explore and experience the geography and wildlife from the seat of a kayak.
We are happy to present these sea kayaking experiences. All of our trips are safe spaces. We aim to create a safe space for people of all beliefs and persuasions. We believe the wilderness is for all.
3.5 Hour Adventure Boat tour in the 30,000 islands. We bring kayaks for you to use to explore the islands intimately along the granite shoreline.
Georgian Bay kayaking day trip with Indigenous interpreter and guide.
A kayak trip is probably the best way to experience the beautiful sparkling waters along our unique section of Georgian Bay coastline. The Georgian Bay Biosphere is designated as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. In a kayak, you paddle quietly and almost effortlessly along the surface of the water. Quiet ripples left behind from the dip of your paddle is the only disturbance you make.
I recently completed the Kayak Level 1 course at OSKC. The instructors James, Dympna and Mike. Excellent instructors with years of experience. I felt safe and confident in their care with instructions and guidance.
