Patty Boucher is an avid paddler who has been paddling canoes and kayaks since she was a child in Northern Ontario. Patty is a certified level one kayak and paddleboard instructor. She has training in guiding kayak and canoe trips on the Great Lakes.

She has been guiding trips on Lake Superior, Lake Huron, inland lakes, and rivers since 2010. Patty has taught at numerous kayak symposiums. She has knowledge and experience leading groups of women on the water and in the wilderness. She has completed expedition kayak trips along the shores of Lake Superior. Patty has knowledge and experience hiking the coastal trails in Lake Superior Provincial Park. She has knowledge of the indigenous lands, history, and culture of the north shore of Lake Superior.

Patty is a certified 500-hour yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga since 2010. She has led wilderness retreats. During the spring and fall months, she facilitates a weekly program “Walking the Sacred Path” in nature. She has worked as a therapist for youth and adult programs in adventure-based environments. Patty is currently retired from her profession as a therapist. She spends time with her family and pursuing advanced teacher training in yoga. In the summer months, you will find her in her kayak on the water. She spends her summer months in Wawa which is just north of Lake Superior Provincial park where she paddles, swims, and hikes.
