Marcos has been guiding in Baja since 1998. He has been working in and around the ocean, getting his start as a fisherman, working with his uncles when he was 9. Marcos was born and raised on the Baja peninsula and knows all about the flora and fauna on land and under the water. He is such a talented fisherman we are usually treated to fresh fish on our Baja trips. His favourite method of fishing is free-diving with his speargun and loves to prepare ocean-to-table meals. On the water, Marcos has been trained through the BCU program to lead and keep everyone safe. His favourite thing about paddling in Baja are its beautiful beaches, the magical sunrises and sunsets, the desert stars at night, and of course the many whales, dolphins, rays and birds.
