Melissa grew up visiting Parry Sound every summer, where her love of being on the water began. Her grandma introduced her to recreational kayaking at a young age and Melissa spent time exploring the lakes around her family’s cottage. Since then, Melissa has developed her skills in sea kayaking and instructing. She loves helping students build their confidence on the water by teaching wet exits and re-entries.
